It is really very interesting to read error codes off your car, it gives real comfort to know what the problem is esp. with guys like us who use mostly old cars. I have been searching around the web for a site that interprete the in practical terms what this codes really imply. I have got an “Injector Circuit Open, Cylinder 5″ error and I am really curious to know what that means. If anyone can help pls do.

    Hi Jubril,

The jeep code “injector circuit open, cylinder 5″ means the fuel injector circuit of your #5 injector is at fault (open connection). You can check this in various ways like checking the resistance in ohms of the injector itself or checking the wiring harness/connectors leading to the #5 injector. For a detailed fix, you should get hold of the wiring diagram of your jeep engine circuit so you can test the wirings closer (available in ATS).
