When you see the check engine light in your dash, you just hit the jackpot! Why? because THAT is the tip your vehicle’s engine is giving you so you can fix what is ailing the engine! All you have to do is very simple: Get the code and it’s meaning and you can ISOLATE the source of the problem.

 In this blog, I will start posting OBD1 codes/articles that are meant for vehicles made before 1995 (for domestic vehicles) and 1993 (for imported vehicles). To help you in diagnosing error codes, I will also give you basics in troubleshooting, wiring diagram anlaysis and later more OBD2 codes (for vehicles made after 1995) fixes.
